This is the first coin that we have produced, solely as a gift.

This coin is not, and never will be, for sale (private or public).

On the reverse side of the coin we have inscribed the New York finest logo (the NYPD), on the front of the coin is the Captains profile. We produced a one-off special coin for the captain in Stirling silver 925 which was presented, privately to him. Coins for the crew, members of the NYPD and the passengers, will be either silver plate or gilding metal and will be presented in the near future.

Many people have asked, why have we done this? Marketing? Self-promotion? Neither.

We produced this coin as we feel that even though a man was doing his job... a job he did very well, it never hurts to say 'thanks'. It's people, like Captain Sullenberger, who exemplify what every person is capable of. And, at that moment, stands up and takes pride in their work - not for themselves - for others.
